Feed
Create Goals, follow their tasks, and open the files and plans connected to the work.
Feed is the main workspace in Command Centre. Use it to create a Goal, talk to Claude, follow results, and keep related tasks and project resources together.
How Feed is organized
Feed has two main areas:
- The sidebar lists workspaces, Goals, drafts, and archived Goals.
- The Goal workspace shows the selected Goal and its chat panels, files, plans, and changes.
You can collapse or resize the sidebar. Command Centre saves the sidebar width and panel layout in this browser.
Find a Goal
Under Workspace, select the local Agentic OS workspace or a client workspace. Select All clients to see Goals across the available client workspaces.
The sidebar groups Goals by Agentic OS or client. It places drafts first, then pinned Goals, then the most recently updated Goals. If tags are available, use All or a tag above the Goal workspace to narrow the list.

| Draft | The Goal has local draft content that has not been sent. |
| In progress | Claude is working on the Goal or one of its tasks. |
| Unread result | The Goal or one of its tasks has a result you have not opened. |
| Needs attention | A task needs input or review before it can continue. |
Selecting a Goal also marks its current results as read.
Create a Goal
- Select the workspace where the work belongs.
- Select New Goal.
- Describe the result you want in What do you want to do?
- Add a title, attachments, or pasted content when needed.
- Choose the model, thinking effort, permission mode, tag, and level.
- Select Send.
The available levels are Task, Planned project, and GSD project. You
can also type --project or --gsd in the message to choose a project level.
New Goals currently start in Full access, unless the saved draft already uses another mode. Change the permission before you select Send if you want Claude to ask first, work in Auto, or prepare a plan. See Task permission modes.
Command Centre saves a draft in this browser after you add a message, title, attachment, or pasted content. Closing the draft keeps it. Use the discard action to remove it.
Pin and archive Goals
Move the pointer over a Goal in the sidebar to see its actions.
- Pin Goal keeps an active Goal near the top of its group.
- Archive Goal removes it from the active list without deleting it.
- Undo returns a Goal immediately after you archive it.
Open Archived at the bottom of the sidebar to search archived Goals. Select Restore to return one to the active list.
An archived Goal is read-only. Restore it before you send another message, edit a file, change the canvas, or continue its work.
Work with panels
Every Goal starts with Main chat. Select + Panel to open more resources.

You can move, resize, and close panels. Command Centre saves the layout for that Goal in this browser. Opening a panel that is already present focuses the existing panel instead of creating a duplicate.
Use subchats
Open Subchats, then choose Start from scratch or start an item from the Goal brief. Selecting a subchat opens it in Main chat. Pin a subchat to keep it in a separate panel while you work in another conversation.
Double-click a subchat name to rename it. Move the pointer over the subchat, or focus it with the keyboard, to show its complete and pin controls. You can also unpin it from the canvas. These actions affect that subchat, not the whole Goal.
File access and limits
Files does not provide access to every file on the computer. Command Centre checks the workspace assigned to the root Goal and shows only approved paths inside that boundary. A subchat cannot change its metadata to reach a wider client workspace.
When you select an allowed file, File viewer can preview supported text, images, PDF, and HTML files. Large or unsupported files may not have a preview. Text editing is unavailable while the Goal is archived.
Changes compares project files inside the same workspace boundary. Open a changed file to inspect it in File viewer. Some binary or unsupported files do not have a text difference.
A task permission mode controls when Claude asks before acting. It does not expand the Goal workspace or bypass Team OS roles, client grants, skill grants, or file boundaries. See Roles and permissions.
Empty and error states

| No subchats yet | Start a blank subchat or start an item from the Goal brief. |
| No files match | Clear the file filter or check the selected workspace. |
| A text file is too large to preview | Use Download or Reveal in file explorer. |
| A binary or unsupported file cannot be previewed | Open the file from its workspace with a suitable app. |
| A panel shows an error | Read the message and use Retry when that action is available. |
